Now I'm sure y'all have read my article last August about the Showtime series Nurse Jackie. Hmmmm? What's that? You're not familiar with one of the best series on the tube? Well, read this and come on back for an update!

Well...now that we're up to date, I wanna discuss Season Two of Showtime's Nurse Jackie.  After the tightrope walk of season one we find Jackie (Edie Falco) trying to put her life back into some semblance of order. Husband, children, work...all on track. With the possible exception of being haunted by recurring thoughts of her ex-lover and former coworker Eddie. Oh, and the sudden hiring of a former nurse and drug addict may jam a foot into the door Jackie's trying to close regarding her own addiction.

When I first heard of this show I expected a strange, comedic rip on the "Underworld" movies. It turns out I was very wrong. "Being Human" has a very realistic feel to it, thanks to its low budget, I presume. But it somehow all works. Beyond the genre conventions there are certain details about the mythos behind each "race” that seem to be moving the show in a different direction from what I’ve seen before.

This one is for all my fellow MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) fans out there. There’s a brand, spanking new - so new it's in open beta testing - MMO out there that's not only FREE TO PLAY, but allows you to create characters of two races as large and in charge hairy, muscle bears!  The game is called Allods Online, created by a Russian company, and brought to the USA via F2P (free-to-play) by the video game company gPotato.  All free-to-play online games have a store where you can purchase either items for your characters or game enhancements such as extra experience points, or even extra characters…all for REAL money of course.

My first experience with Buffy was when I watched that very campy 90's movie, headed by Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry. It wasn’t a good movie, and aside from Paul Reuben's deliciously vampiric character "Amilyn", and some witty dialogue, the movie pretty much sucked (no pun intended).
